Chief Executive Officer
Graham joined OHT in late 2017 to lead the growth of Ocean Harvest Technology globally. He has extensive experience in the launch of new products and technologies over the past 20 years and holds an MBA from Chicago Booth, and is a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering.
Most recently, he lead the launch of a microalgal platform for TerraVia Holdings, providing cost effective Omega 3 products for the animal feed industry. In this role he was an executive director of the Brazilian joint venture between Bunge and TerraVia Holdings, and oversaw the successful commercial launch of the products into aquaculture, companion, and production animals, including a transformation partnership with leading salmon feed company, BioMar.
Business Development Director
Marc joined OHT in November 2018, for which he will be active as Business development Director. Marc’s main task will be to develop new business and sales for OHT in Asia and Latin America. Besides this he will be part of the management team in order to actively develop the new strategical focus of OHT.
Prior to Joining OHT, Marc worked in different management roles for the Feed & Food Business Unit of Perstorp AB, including portfolio director and sales director APAC. In previous roles Marc was a Feed Additive BU manager for Verdugt in the Netherlands and key account manager for the Unilever subsidiary, Loders Croklaan, for which he was active in Latin America and Asia.
Marc holds a Master of science degrees in Animal Science from Wageningen University, as well as a PhD in Animal Nutrition from Reading University.
Basil Kennedy has been with OHT since 2010, responsible for overseeing the activities within the organization which contribute to the effective production of goods and services.
Currently dividing his time between the Vietnamese and Irish facilities, Mr Kennedy has gained extensive knowledge and experience within the seaweed industry and in the procurement of seaweeds globally.
Jason Sands Phd
Product Portfolio Manager
Jason joined OHT in April 2018 as Product Portfolio Manager. Jason is responsible for generating research data and developing technical documentation to strengthen the OceanFeed brand as well as assisting OHT’s sales and distribution teams by providing technical support.
Prior to Joining OHT, Jason worked as a technical consultant to the Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute in The Bahamas. This was preceded by several research and product management roles in the feed additive industry including technical roles with. Finfeeds and Danisco Animal Nutrition. He also spent a brief period in academia as a research associate at the University of Manitoba.
Jason holds Bachelor and Master of science degrees in Animal Science from Tuskegee University and the University of Tennessee respectively, as well as a PhD in Animal Nutrition from Purdue University.
COMMERCIAL CONSULTANT/Account manager
Dan has been consulting with Ocean Harvest since 2014. Initially focused on the Equine market, he has collaborated with some of Europes most prestigious studs and stables and has helped to drive a stronger awareness of the OceanFeed™ Equine product.
Now focused on managing a number of our critical distribution accounts, Dan has broadened his scope to accommodate the full OceanFeed™ products portfolio.
MARINE TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST
Declan has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Aquatic Ecology from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology in 2005. After working as a Research Assistant in the Irish Seaweed Centre in NUI Galway for 5 years, Declan joined OHT in 2011.
Declan has significant expertise and experience in the areas of hatchery production and near-shore farming of cultivated seaweed. He is responsible for the sourcing of local seaweed species through wild harvesting or using his extensive network of seaweed harvesters. His role involves working with suppliers to ensure the quality and safety of the seaweed raw materials.
Gulnur Kircali Aydin
Quality Control Specialist
Gulnur has been with OHT since the middle of 2017. She has 6 years’ experience within the Quality sector and has worked in various industries. She has a MSc. Degree an Quality Management (2013), has a Bachelor of Chemistry (2009) and also an associate degree an Laborant and Veterinary Health. (2008)
Gulnur is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Management System in Ireland and supports the Vietnamese production team. She also ensures sites are fully compliant with all regulatory corporate guidelines.
Office Accounts Manager
Amanda joined OHT in 2017, with responsibility for coordinating order handling and other sales and customer support activities. With a strong background in accounts and office management, she also manages general day to day running of the Irish office.

Executive Assistant & Office Manager – Fareham
Charlene joined OHT in early 2018 to handle digital marketing, and the management of the new commercial offices in Fareham, UK. She additionally acts as Executive Assistant to Graham Ellis.
Over the past 15 years she has gained experience as an executive assistant to several top-level executives in the private sector. Charlene also has a varied background in marketing and international event planning and holds a BSc (Hons) in Media Communications.
Managing Director, Ocean Harvest Technology Americas, LLC
Bill Saxelby is the Managing Director of Ocean Harvest Technology Americas. Saxelby has extensive experience in large and small public and private companies in healthcare and industry. From September 2005 until 2014 he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Landauer, Inc. (NYSE: LDR) whose business was focused on radiation measurement in healthcare environments. Before joining Landauer, Inc. Bill provided consulting services to certain private equity firms. From 1999 to 2003, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Medical Research Laboratories, Inc., a manufacturer of defibrillators that was sold to the Welch Allyn Company. From 1996 to 1999, Corporate Vice President, Allegiance Healthcare, a spin-off of Baxter International. From 1978 to 1996, Mr. Saxelby held executive positions with Baxter International and its American Hospital Supply subsidiary.
Dr. Augustine Owusu-Asiedu
Technical Service Manager
Dr. Augustine Owusu-Asiedu (Augie) joined Ocean Harvest Technology in August 2018. Originally from Ghana, West Africa, Augustine earned both his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Manitoba in Canada, specializing in animal nutrition and gut health. He brings over 16 years of experience in the animal production and feed additives industry, working for Nutritech, Fast Genetics, Danisco-Dupont and Anpario. His major focus has been on providing technical services support to producers as well as research and idea generation in response to current and future challenges facing the animal industry. Augustine’s role is to provide technical support to customers in North America and Asia, to support trials, gather data, and help in promote OHT and Ocean Feed products to the commercial and scientific community. Augustine and his family currently make their home in Waukesha, Wisconsin USA.
Ronald S. Simbajon
Ronald specializes on seaweed mariculture with over 25 years of experience in seaweed farming and seaweed raw material supply sourcing in the Philippines.
He is active in the seaweed industry and sits as a board of director of the Seaweed Industry Association of the Philippines.
Ronald joined OHT in the first quarter of 2017.
